When I was young I thought I would grow up, get married, have kids and be a stay at home mom. I guess this is because that is what my mom did. My parents were married for life. I never imagined that I would not be married to one person for life.
As I went over free bible study lessons today, I thought about the fact that I’d been married once and divorced once already. I made a huge mistake getting remarried to a man who claimed to be a Christian, but I should have known better. He did

My husbands manager is a very dedicated Christian woman. I don’t think her beliefs are necessarily based on fact or anything that I could ever have faith in, but nonetheless she is very devoted to her church and beliefs. Last year she went to Jerusalem for religious purposes. We finally got to see her pictures from her trip last night. It looks like a very interesting place to visit. The landscape looks very dry and arid, very much like a desert. She has a couple of pictures of herself riding a camel. I think that would be the most

What do you know about prophecy and the bible? There is much prophecy in Scripture to look out for. The Bible says to meditate on the Bible on a daily basis so that you can be equipped with the words necessary for God to speak to you in all things. In the last days, Jesus was asked what is to be expected in those days. Jesus replied by saying there will be much pestilence and famine in the last days. Many people have identified pestilence is being man-made viruses that are intended to kill off people. If you do

Many people have the wrong impression. They think that they should not ask God to be healed. Well in one of the best Bible verses about healing the prophet Jeremiah puts this subject to rest. He writes “O LORD, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone!”
Right there you see that even the prophet Jeremiah asked God to be healed. It is not wrong to ask God to be healed and in fact He expects you to ask. Jesus was the great physician

I watched as my pastor went to the front of the church to address everyone. It was Christmas morning and my dad had surprised everyone by showing up for church this morning. The pastor said good morning to start the service. Then he said there is someone who would like to say something and looked at my dad.
My dad got up and walked over, with his crutches, to the podium. He started out by explaining what had happened with the accident, and that he is an alcoholic. He said that when we did my youth bible study

God has taught me over the years to be content and to even be able to smile when I am living this thing called life all alone. My wife died at an early age and a few years later I moved to a brand new city where I hardly knew anyone.
The place I moved from had been home for some years and I had met many people and had developed some very close friends. There wasn’t anywhere I could go that I would not see people I knew. I had plenty of people to share life with and I

Most of the times, the best stress management is just doing the basic things that we have been missing in our lives. With the world being busy and disturbances brought about by the modern world, people just forget to take a time out and pray. People nowadays seem to have forgotten that the real causes of stress lie within us. It is the lack of inner peace that causes people to feel stressed and even feel negative about life. How come the cloistered nuns don’t seem to feel pressured? How come priests, pastors and church leaders seem to be
